Homeschool co-op

So Alec had his first day of co-op and we both loved it. We took his friend Baker along w us and boy, we're the conversations memorable! Also, I was happy to see that I'm (apparently) raising a gentleman as he spent almost ALL of their 5 minute break putting her shoes on for her:) 

We look forward to getting our home curriculum and blogging about our adventures!

Homeschool Adventures! (test post sorta)

It's been a looooong time since I've posted but I really want to start preserving (and sharing) some memories! He's growing so fast!

We are starting homeschool soon- (THAT was a tough decision) but I hope it will be a healthy and positive experience! We will and do miss our friends at preschool, tho!

We were lucky to have Papa and Grandma Brandy stay w us this summer! So we will have photos from THAT, too...

I'm excited to get the blog going!

Tot Soccer- Game One (April 2, 2011)

So, Before we found out that all of Alec's pneumonias were caused by his reflux, we signed him up for soccer! Tot Soccer- we imagined him and nine other kids wearing shin guards as recommended, but standing around picking their noses or whatever... I was shocked to see him running after kids, grabbing their shirts and trying to tackle them to the ground to get the ball! HYSTERICAL! but scary also, since we had been told not to do it by the lung doc- (Have you ever heard the saying that Nurses make terrible patients?). Alec used his puffer A LOT, and went on chasing  the kids! He even almost got the ball into the net!- doesnt really matter that it was the back of the net... We are so proud of him! He's fast and enthusiastic- so cute!
